Events unfolded on February 18, when a mobile police group was conducting patrols in the bypass area. Around 11 PM, they noticed a group of people in the Kemin district. As the patrol car approached, part of the group attempted to flee; however, they were unable to escape.
According to local residents of the Issyk-Ata district, they had planned to meet with young men to purchase gold jewelry. However, the meeting turned into a threat: the young men began to threaten them with a pistol, demanding money.
During the preliminary investigation, it became known that the detainees had meticulously prepared for the robbery. They used a false pretext of selling jewelry to lure victims to the bypass area, while being armed with a Makarov pistol.
This incident was registered under Article 36-207 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic ("Preparation for Robbery"). Among those detained were D.A. (born in 2001), Zh.A. (born in 1998), and D.K. (born in 1997). The court has imposed a two-month detention on them.
Currently, the investigation is ongoing.
