
Kanatbek Chynybaev has been appointed as the acting Minister of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan. This decision was formalized by a decree from the president of the republic.
The president's press service reported that Chynybaev's candidacy, whose full name is Kanatbek Koichubekovich, was proposed for consideration by the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic for the position of Minister of Emergency Situations.
Until the parliament makes a final decision, Chynybaev will serve as the head of this agency.
The decree also announced the dismissal of Urmatbek Shamyrkanov from the position of Minister of Emergency Situations, as reported by the president's press service.
