The press secretary of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Askhat Alpgozov, commented on the decision to dismiss Urmatbek Shamyrkanov from the position of Minister of Emergency Situations.

After his appointment as minister, the employee reported that he would not be able to transfer the remaining amount. In response, Shamyrkanov transferred him to a unit located in the Batken region. The concerned employee then approached President Sadyr Japarov with a corresponding statement.
The President instructed the General Prosecutor's Office to conduct an investigation regarding these accusations.
