At the meeting of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic, held on March 10, a decision was made to terminate the powers of the district electoral commission No. 13, formed in October 2025.

The reason for this step was the cancellation of the repeat elections in this district, caused by the review of the results of the elections held on November 30, 2025.

Let us remind you that on November 30, 2025, extraordinary elections for deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh took place. On December 3, 2025, the Central Election Commission canceled the registration of all 14 candidates in district No. 13 due to identified violations related to the installation of cameras by observers at polling stations, which violated the secrecy of the vote.

The repeat elections were scheduled for March 1, 2026, and the list of candidates included 23 people. On February 13, the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums reviewed its decision regarding the results of the early elections in the multi-mandate district No. 13, canceling the previous resolution and recognizing the elections as valid. Ultimately, the deputies elected were Aibek Altynbekov, Talant Mamytov, and Aigul Karabekova. After this, the Central Election Commission faced legal proceedings regarding the cancellation of the repeat elections in district No. 13, and the court confirmed the legality of this decision.
