He submitted an official complaint to President Sadyr Japarov, as well as to the General Prosecutor's Office.
Turdumambetov stated his intentions to participate in the parliamentary elections scheduled for November 2025 and submitted all necessary documents to the Central Election Commission, including a deposit of 300,000 soms.
According to the former deputy, the deposit was not returned to him.

Turdumambetov shared that part of his team went to Toktogul to open a campaign headquarters and begin preparations for the election campaign. However, on November 2, when he was heading to Toktogul, he was stopped by officers of the State Committee for National Security in Kara-Balta, taken to Bishkek, and, as the former deputy claims, was pressured into signing a refusal to participate in the elections "of his own accord."
After signing the document, he was prohibited from sharing information about the incident on social media. He also expressed concerns about possible provocations and pressure on his supporters and campaigners.

In his statement, the former deputy mentioned the possible involvement of some candidates in the events but emphasized that he expects an official investigation. He believes that initiating a criminal case could clarify all circumstances and the roles of the participants in this incident.
He also hopes for a review of the election results for district No. 14 and for a re-vote.
Osmon Turdumambetov previously worked in the Tax Service, holding managerial positions in the Moscow, Issyk-Ata, and Lenin districts, and from 2020 to 2021 was a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh from the "Onuguu-Progress" party.
Recall that the elections for deputies of the VIII convocation took place on November 30 of last year.
