Kunduzbek Sulaymanov, who held the position of deputy in the Jogorku Kenesh, commented on his decision to cease his parliamentary activities. He did this through a post on social media.
According to him, this step was taken after deep reflection.
"I cannot place my mandate above my conscience, reputation, and the unity of our people. In order to prevent further tension in society, I have decided to leave parliament," Sulaymanov noted, adding that this situation should not be politicized.
