Kunduzbek Sulaymanov, a former deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, shared his thoughts on the decision to resign from his position. The corresponding message was published on his social media pages.

According to Sulaymanov, this decision was the result of a "deep analysis." He emphasized that he always tried to take into account the opinions of voters and respond promptly to their appeals.

"My mandate cannot stand above my conscience, reputation, and the unity of the people. In order not to exacerbate public tension, I have decided to cease my parliamentary activities," he stated.

Additionally, the former deputy noted that he does not know the person captured in the video that is being actively discussed online, and added that he was not under any pressure.

"I asked for a peaceful resolution to the situation, without conflicts. I urge you not to turn this into a political game," he added.

In conclusion, Sulaymanov thanked his voters and wished good luck to the candidate who will take his place in parliament.

Earlier, the Central Election Commission prematurely terminated Sulaymanov's powers after he announced his departure.
