Today, Adylbek Kasymaliev, the head of the government, inspected the progress of major renovations at two large medical institutions in Bishkek. In particular, he visited the National Center of Cardiology and Therapy named after Mirrakhimov, as well as the Scientific Research Institute of Heart Surgery and Organ Transplantation, as reported by the press service of the Cabinet.

Kasymaliev familiarized himself with the state of affairs at the sites, the pace of construction work, and the conditions being created for medical personnel and patients.

As part of the major renovation of the national cardiology center, construction and engineering works are being carried out, covering the outpatient clinic, operating block, as well as the nephrology basement and food block. The works also concern engineering systems such as water supply, sewage, electricity supply, and ventilation.

The renovation work has been completed in the nephrology, rheumatology, and therapy departments. Electrical supply works have been completed, heating systems, fire alarms, and video surveillance systems have been installed, as well as four new elevators. Additionally, the major renovation of the conference hall and food block has been completed, while the outpatient clinic and inpatient department are in the final stages.

The head of the Cabinet instructed to complete the work at the site within three months.

Then, Adylbek Kasymaliev reviewed the progress of restoration work at the Scientific Research Institute of Heart Surgery and Organ Transplantation, where a fire occurred in February of last year.

The repair work is at the final stage. Internal structures have been dismantled, new window blocks have been installed, heating systems and sanitary networks have been replaced, as well as electrical supply cable lines. Finishing works have been completed, along with ventilation and facade works. A new room for the gasifier has been built, oxygen pipelines have been laid, and recirculation columns and laminar ceilings have been installed.

Engineering solutions necessary for the operation of the operating block and medical premises have been implemented, including a smoke removal system and ventilation equipment. Medical equipment worth 270 million soms has been purchased for the institute.

At the end of the visit, Kasymaliev instructed to ensure the quality and timely completion of the work at the institution by March 1.
