Today, the Central Election Commission unanimously decided to prematurely revoke the mandate of deputy Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu.

Let us remind you that the former speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh announced his intention to resign from his deputy powers. Turgunbek uulu participated in the elections held on November 30, 2025, in multi-mandate electoral district No. 15.

Amid recent rumors about his possible involvement in political intrigues and the so-called "address of seventy-five," he decided to comment on the situation.

“I openly declare in the holy month of Ramadan and before God: I have no relation to either intrigues or the collection of signatures for the address of seventy-five elders,” he emphasized.

Turgunbek uulu also noted that the letter that sparked public discussion was published while he was on a visit to Turkey, and he only learned about it later.

In recent months, the former speaker has faced health issues and has been undergoing treatment. In this regard, he decided to temporarily step away from politics and focus on recovering his health and personal matters, resigning his deputy mandate early.

According to the voting results, the next deputy on the list was supposed to be Alisher Erbaev. However, he was appointed director of the Anti-Terrorism Center of the GKNB. Thus, the mandate may pass to Jaiylobai Nyshanov, who is next on the list after Erbaev. In the elections, Nyshanov received 5,865 votes, which is 8.69 percent.
