Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, the former speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, announced his intention to resign from his position as a deputy ahead of schedule. This issue has not yet been discussed in the Central Election Commission.

So far, there has been no official announcement regarding who will take the vacant seat. Turgunbek uulu participated in the parliamentary elections held on November 30, 2025, in multi-mandate electoral district No. 15.

According to the rules, the next deputy on the list should have been Alisher Erbaev, but he was appointed director of the Anti-Terrorism Center of the GKNB. In this regard, the mandate may pass to Jaiyloba Nyshanov, who is next on the list after Erbaev. In the elections, Nyshanov received 5,865 votes, which is 8.69 percent.
