It is necessary to guide deputies towards the right decisions and call for peace among the people and the state. The speaker's duty is to adhere to the regulations and improve the interaction between the parliament and the president,” the deputy stated.
Moreover, Talant Mamytov added that “regardless of relationships and agreements, the law must be above all.” He noted that the people chose a president who fulfills his duties, and the parliament must support the fair aspects of state policy, and in case of errors, strive to correct them and voice the opinion of the people.
Earlier, a group of public figures and officials appealed to President Sadyr Japarov and Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, requesting the immediate initiation of new elections. This address was signed by 75 people.
As a result, the head of the State National Security Committee, Kamchybek Tashiev, was removed from his position. The president commented on his decision, noting that it was related to the actions of the authors of the "address of 75 people." There were also rumors about a possible resignation of Speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, but this information was denied in parliament.
However, just two days after the dismissal of the head of the State National Security Committee, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu announced his voluntary resignation from the position.
