The Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan confirmed the decision made by the Bishkek Administrative Court on February 16 regarding electoral district No. 13. This information was received from the judicial panel on administrative cases.

Kanybek Bazarbaev, a candidate for deputy in district No. 13, previously filed an appeal against the decision of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums, which canceled the repeat elections scheduled for March 1.

The Administrative Court recognized the decision of the CEC from February 13 as lawful, which served as the basis for Bazarbaev to file a cassation appeal to the Supreme Court.

Recall that on November 30, 2025, extraordinary elections were held in Kyrgyzstan for the Jogorku Kenesh. As a result, the CEC canceled the registration of all 14 candidates in district No. 13 due to violations related to the installation of surveillance cameras at polling stations and appointed repeat elections. However, on February 13, the commission reviewed its previous decision and recognized the elections as valid. According to the new decision, the mandates of the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh are to be transferred to Aibek Altynbekov, Talant Mamytov, and Aigul Karabekova.
