
During the conversation, the heads of state discussed key issues of bilateral relations concerning trade, transport, industrial cooperation, energy, and water resource management, as well as the implementation of previously reached agreements.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev spoke about the current constitutional reforms in Kazakhstan aimed at creating a sustainable foundation for future progress. Sadyr Japarov expressed his support for these transformations, including the establishment of a unicameral parliament, and wished success for the upcoming nationwide referendum.

The leaders noted the necessity of addressing all emerging issues in a spirit of trust and traditional friendship, which creates a reliable basis for further development of multilateral cooperation. The presidents also discussed domestic political reforms and international agenda issues, as well as agreed on a schedule for upcoming joint events in a multilateral format.
