In his place, President Sadyr Japarov appointed Malik Bekturganov, who previously served as the prosecutor of the city of Osh and has significant experience in the prosecutor's office.
Also, the new Deputy Prosecutor General is Zalkarbek Ak Nazarov, appointed by presidential decree.
