On February 10, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, signed a decree relieving Kamchybek Tashiev of his position as Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security.
Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov has been appointed as the acting head of the State Committee for National Security.
Three deputies of the chairman of the State Committee for National Security were also dismissed.
