Sadyr Japarov Appointed Two New Deputy Chairmen of the State Committee for National Security

Alisher Erbaev has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the State National Security Committee (GKNB) and will head the Antiterrorism Center. In turn, Uranbek Shadybekov has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the GKNB and will become the Director of the Cybersecurity Coordination Center. These appointments were announced by the press service of the President's Administration.

The orders for the appointments were signed on February 10 of this year by Sadyr Japarov.

On the same day, February 10, the president signed a decree removing Kamchybek Tashiev from the position of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the GKNB. Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov was appointed as the Acting Chairman of the GKNB, and three Deputy Chairmen of the GKNB were dismissed.
