The press secretary of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Askhat Alagozov, clarified the misunderstandings surrounding President Sadyr Japarov's comment. According to him, when the president stated that "this decision was made in the interests of the state to avoid a split in society and strengthen unity," he did not mean Kamchybek Kydyrshaevich.
In fact, it was about other individuals, such as Bekbolot Talgarkbekov and Emilbek Uzakbaev, who, using the name of Kamchybek Tashiev, approached deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh and public figures, suggesting various actions: "Join the side of the general, sign this, let's do it this way, let's do it that way." These manipulations created conditions for tension in society, including among officials working in state structures such as the Jogorku Kenesh.
Alagozov noted that his previous comments regarding the dismissal of the Deputy Prime Minister — Chairman of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev, were misinterpreted or distorted by certain individuals, which is why he finds it necessary to provide clarifications.
It should be noted that today it became known that President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree on the resignation of Kamchybek Tashiev from the position of Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security. Additionally, he dismissed three of Tashiev's deputies.
The acting head of the committee has been appointed Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, whose candidacy has already been submitted to the Jogorku Kenesh for approval as the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security.
