Askhat Alagozov, the press secretary of the president, spoke on Facebook, clarifying a previously made comment regarding Sadyr Japarov's words about the resignation of Tashiev. He noted that some of his statements "were misunderstood or distorted."

Alagozov also indicated that this concerns individuals such as Bekbolot Talgarbekov and Emilbek Uzakbaev, who, using the name of Kamchybek Tashiev, initiated calls to various people—from deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh to representatives of the intelligentsia—urging them to "switch to the side of the general." "These actions contributed to creating a negative atmosphere in society and among high-ranking officials, such as deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh. I find it necessary to clarify the distortion of my words," added the press secretary.

We remind you that today, February 10, it became known that based on Article 70 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov dismissed Kamchybek Tashiev from the position of head of the State Committee for National Security and Deputy Prime Minister. He was replaced by Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, who previously held the position of Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for National Security. Japarov's press secretary Askhat Alagozov explained the president's decision by stating that it was made in the interests of the country to avoid a split in society and strengthen unity among state structures.

Earlier, an open letter was published by 75 politicians, both current and former, as well as representatives from culture and healthcare, requesting early elections. The president's administration has not yet commented on this appeal.
