Kyrgyzstan and the EU held the 7th meeting of the Cooperation Development Subcommittee
The Kyrgyz delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Meder Abakirov, while the European side was represented by Charlotte Adrien, head of the Central Asia and Afghanistan department in the Directorate-General for International Partnerships (INTPA) of the European Commission.
Charlotte Adrien emphasized the successful achievements under the Global Gateway initiative, including the signing of a memorandum of understanding in the energy sector between Kyrgyzstan and the European Investment Bank.
During the meeting, the parties engaged in a constructive dialogue regarding bilateral and regional cooperation and identified key areas for strengthening and enhancing the effectiveness of joint work on issues of mutual interest.
