Kyrgyzstan Identified Water Security as the Main Issue at the Summit in Dubai
During his speech, he emphasized that the modern world faces numerous challenges, including climate, water, food, and social issues.
“To achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, it is necessary to move towards comprehensive and long-term risk management. It is important to focus on the scarcity of water resources, especially in the context of climate change. Kyrgyzstan, being a mountainous country that forms the sources of rivers in Central Asia, bears a special responsibility for preserving the water ecosystems of the region and actively raises issues of water security on international platforms,” the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
