The Cabinet updated the regulations on minimum requirements for pawnshops in Kyrgyzstan

According to the latest decree from the Cabinet of Ministers, signed by Adylbek Kasymaliev, new requirements for pawnshops have been introduced in Kyrgyzstan. The information was provided by the government press service.

The main objective of this regulation is to establish minimum requirements for the operation of pawnshops. These rules apply to all legal entities that hold licenses to conduct their activities in the country.

According to the new rules, the minimum charter capital of pawnshops will increase as follows:Organizations engaged in pawnshop activities must adapt their operations to the new requirements within six months. The text of the regulation is available here.

These changes will come into effect 15 days after their official publication.
