Edil Baysalov: We are disappointed with some of the European Union's sanctions
The Deputy Prime Minister noted the possible risks of misunderstanding
Kyrgyzstan actively supports dialogue with European countries. Edil Baisalov, who holds the position of Deputy Prime Minister, shared his views on the potential sanctions from the European Union concerning the republic in an interview with Euronews.
“We are indeed concerned about the potential misunderstanding. Some sanctions are disappointing to us, as they seem to target the most vulnerable areas. We are ready to engage in dialogue with them, explaining and defending our pragmatic interests aimed at national development, while also remaining focused on addressing internal issues,” he emphasized.
