The Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev met with the permanent representatives of nine countries

A meeting took place in New York between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, and the permanent representatives of nine countries who arrived in the republic as part of their visit under the United Nations.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting, Kulubaev presented to the ambassadors of Andorra, Gabon, Guyana, Guatemala, Guinea-Bissau, Namibia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Chad, and South Sudan the achievements of Kyrgyzstan in the field of socio-economic reforms. He also discussed key international events that the republic will host in 2026, including the SCO Summit and the VI World Nomad Games.


The minister emphasized the importance of cooperation with the UN, highlighting its central role in the country's foreign policy. During the conversation, the initiatives of Kyrgyzstan on the international stage and interaction with other UN member states were also discussed.

The permanent representatives noted Kyrgyzstan's positive role in promoting global initiatives such as climate change, mountain development issues, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development, as well as ensuring peace and security. They expressed their readiness to deepen cooperation in both multilateral and bilateral formats.

In addition, current international and geopolitical issues, cooperation in Central Asia, and other global topics were discussed.

As part of the visit, foreign diplomats also familiarized themselves with winter tourism facilities, visited several government institutions to exchange experiences in modern technologies, as well as historical and cultural landmarks of Kyrgyzstan.
