The Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic met with the Permanent Representatives of nine countries to the UN

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, held a meeting with the permanent representatives of nine countries accredited to the UN in New York. This meeting was part of a foreign delegation's visit to Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the ministry's press service.

During the discussions, Kulubaev spoke about significant socio-economic reforms currently being implemented in the country. He also shared information about the successes achieved and key international events planned for 2026, including the SCO summit and the VI World Nomad Games. The minister paid special attention to the important role of the UN in Kyrgyzstan's foreign policy and national initiatives within this organization.

The permanent representatives of countries such as Andorra, Gabon, Guyana, Guatemala, Guinea-Bissau, Namibia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Chad, and South Sudan noted Kyrgyzstan's significant contribution to the implementation of global initiatives related to climate change, the mountain agenda, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development, as well as issues related to peace and security. They expressed their readiness to develop cooperation at both multilateral and bilateral levels.

In addition, the parties discussed current issues on the international and regional agenda, including the situation in Central Asia.

As part of the visit, foreign diplomats also familiarized themselves with winter tourism facilities, visited several government institutions to exchange experiences in advanced technologies, as well as the UN House and historical and cultural landmarks of Kyrgyzstan.
