GKNB Board: Over the past five years, assets worth 352 billion soms have been returned to the state
General Tashiev emphasized significant achievements in ensuring both state and public security, as well as in strengthening law and order. He noted that the fight against organized crime and corruption remains among the top priorities. In this context, attention was drawn to the need to enhance anti-corruption measures in the state institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic and to identify illegal actions by officials. Tashiev added that cleansing state structures of corrupt elements is an important direction of state policy, implemented on a systematic and institutional basis.
It was also reported at the meeting that over the past five years, thanks to anti-corruption initiatives and investigative actions, the state has managed to recover 352 billion soms (equivalent to 4.14 billion US dollars) in the form of financial assets, state property, land plots, and other material values.
These funds have been fully credited to the special account of the Stabilization Fund of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and can only be used by personal order of the head of state for the implementation of social projects, improving infrastructure, and raising the living standards of citizens.
