In 5 years, 352 billion soms have been reimbursed to the state budget — A meeting was held at the GKNB
The event was attended by the chairman of the SCNS, Kamchybek Tashiev, as well as leaders of various divisions, including central, line, and territorial agencies.
Tashiev noted that the national security agencies demonstrated high efficiency in ensuring both state and public security. He emphasized the importance of their work in strengthening law and order, as well as in combating organized crime and corruption.
Particular attention at the meeting was paid to countering corruption in government structures, identifying and suppressing illegal activities among officials, and cleansing government agencies of corrupt practices.
The statement highlights that the fight against corruption occupies a central place in state policy and is conducted on a systematic and institutional basis. Tashiev stressed the importance of these measures for stability in the country.
During the board meeting, it was also reported that over the past five years, as part of the anti-corruption campaign, 352 billion soms (approximately 4.14 billion dollars) in financial assets, state property, land plots, and other material values have been returned to the state.
According to the SCNS, these funds have been fully credited to the special account of the President's Stabilization Fund and will be used exclusively at the direction of the head of state for the implementation of socially significant projects, infrastructure development, and improving the living standards of the citizens of the republic.
