In his report, Kamchybek Tashiev emphasized that the national security of the country is ensured at a high level, concerning both public safety and the fight against organized crime.
Special attention in his speech was paid to the fight against corruption in government agencies. The head of the GKNB stressed that eliminating corrupt elements and identifying illegal activities of officials are the main priorities of state policy. Work in this direction is carried out consistently and systematically.
According to the information from the board, over the past five years, as a result of anti-corruption operations and investigative actions, 352 billion soms (approximately $4.14 billion) have been returned to the state. This amount includes not only financial assets but also real estate, land plots, and other types of property.
All funds have been transferred to a special account of the President's Stabilization Fund and are used exclusively at the direction of the head of state for social projects, infrastructure improvement, and enhancing the living standards of the population.
Kamchybek Tashiev added that in 2026, work on ensuring national security and combating corruption will continue with an increased focus on institutional strengthening and enhancing the transparency of government processes.
