In his speech, Tashiev emphasized the significant achievements of the national security agencies in ensuring the safety of the state and society, strengthening law and order, as well as in the relentless fight against corruption and organized crime. During the reporting period, special attention was paid to issues of combating corruption in government institutions, identifying and preventing offenses by officials, as well as cleansing state structures of corrupt elements. The head of the committee noted that combating corruption remains a top priority of state policy and is carried out on a systematic and institutional basis.

Furthermore, during the meeting, it was reported that over the past five years, thanks to anti-corruption measures and operational-investigative actions, 352 billion soms (approximately 4.14 billion US dollars) in the form of financial assets, state property, land, and other material values had been returned to the state budget.
