At the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, the results of the special service's work for 2025 were summarized at a board meeting.
The meeting of the board took place at the headquarters of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, where the chairman of the GKNB, Kamchybek Tashiev, summarized the work of the national security agencies for the year 2025.
Leaders of all central, line, and territorial divisions of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic were present at the event.
In his speech, Tashiev emphasized the significant achievements of the national security agencies in ensuring the safety of the state and society, strengthening law and order, as well as in the relentless fight against corruption and organized crime. During the reporting period, special attention was paid to issues of combating corruption in government institutions, identifying and preventing offenses by officials, as well as cleansing state structures of corrupt elements. The head of the committee noted that combating corruption remains a top priority of state policy and is carried out on a systematic and institutional basis.
Furthermore, during the meeting, it was reported that over the past five years, thanks to anti-corruption measures and operational-investigative actions, 352 billion soms (approximately 4.14 billion US dollars) in the form of financial assets, state property, land, and other material values had been returned to the state budget.
These funds have been fully credited to the special account of the Stabilization Fund of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and can be used exclusively at the direction of the head of state for the implementation of social projects, infrastructure development, and improving the living standards of the citizens of the republic.
