Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the World Bank Held Negotiations
Projects being implemented in the country were discussed
On January 26, a meeting took place between the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakyt Sydykov, and Najy Benhassine, the regional director of the World Bank for Central Asian countries.
During the negotiations, aspects of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the World Bank were discussed, as reported by the ministry's press service.
Minister Sydykov informed about the current state of the country's economy, noting the significant growth observed in recent years due to a systematic approach to the development of key sectors.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on current projects funded by the World Bank, as well as future steps to strengthen and expand mutual relations.
Najy Benhassine, for his part, confirmed the World Bank's readiness to continue cooperation with the Kyrgyz authorities, highlighting positive trends in the economy.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their intention to continue working on the implementation of previously reached agreements.
