During the meeting, important issues concerning the work of the parliament and the legislative process were discussed. Participants exchanged opinions and suggestions, as reported by the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh.
According to Turgunbek uulu, the Jogorku Kenesh plays a key role in the country's power system. He noted that necessary reforms and projects will not be implemented without parliamentary consideration. He also added that nominations for positions in other branches of power should be discussed in the Jogorku Kenesh, emphasizing the importance of understanding the duties and responsibilities of each authority.
The Speaker also noted that the relevant committees are obliged to thoroughly work on draft laws before they are presented for discussion to the entire parliament.
Turgunbek uulu assured that the principles of transparency and freedom of speech will be strictly adhered to in the Jogorku Kenesh, adding that deputies can freely express their opinions on any issues, and all meetings will be broadcast live to ensure information accessibility for the public.
