Four citizens submitted applications to participate in the repeat elections for district No. 13
Among the candidates are 61-year-old Akylbek Arstanbekov, 54-year-old Erkinbek Mamataev, 56-year-old Ulanbek Asanov, and 60-year-old Baktybek Asamudinov.
According to the commission, the acceptance of applications for election participants will end on January 28 at 18:00.
Repeat elections in this district are scheduled for March 1, and the campaigning will start on February 9 and last until February 28.
18.5 million soms will be allocated from the republican budget for the organization of the elections.
It is worth noting that early elections for the Jogorku Kenesh took place on November 30, 2025, but due to violations of legislation in this district, the Central Election Commission declared the voting results invalid on December 3. It was revealed that cameras had been installed at 35 polling stations, allegedly for monitoring the voting process, while campaigners could observe how voters were casting their ballots.
