The modern education system must not only meet international standards but also be capable of forming competitive specialists. An important step has been the introduction of 12-year education, as well as a comprehensive modernization of the infrastructure and material and technical base of educational institutions.
To enhance the global competitiveness of the new generation of Kyrgyzstan, measures are being implemented to introduce the 12-year education model, provide students with new textbooks and programs focused on 21st-century skills.

The laboratory equipment is diverse and allows for solving a wide range of educational tasks during the learning process. In total, 220 cluster schools have been equipped with 5,500 sets of laboratory equipment, 220 interactive panels, and an equal number of laptops.
These sets are intended for conducting research laboratory work, studying mechanics, electricity and magnetism, optical phenomena, wave processes, properties of liquids, chemical reactions, and biological objects. The equipment allows for accurate measurement, recording, and analysis of experimental data, as well as developing students' research skills and working with modern measuring technologies.

The use of this equipment contributes to the development of subject knowledge, practical skills, digital literacy, and research thinking among students, as well as improving the quality of teaching natural science disciplines.
Training events have been conducted for educators on the effective use of educational laboratory equipment and information and communication technologies in the educational process.
As part of the "Education for the New Generation (Next Generation Education – 2025)" project, training has been provided for 800 English language teachers and 400 STEM teachers across the country. The aim of the training was to enhance the professional level of educators and develop the necessary skills for modern teaching.
The Ministry of Education is also working on selecting authors and developers to create new generation textbooks, which is related to the transition to the 12-year education model.
In the upcoming batches, laptops are planned to be provided to teachers of the subjects "History," "Geography," and "Kyrgyz Language".
The issue of school space shortage is being addressed each year: new educational buildings are being constructed based on the number of students, and some schools are receiving additional extensions.
At the second People's Kurultai in 2023, the Ministry of Education received 412 appeals.
