In the Batken region, in the city of Kyzyl-Kiya, a kindergarten building has once again become the property of the state. This became known on February 10 thanks to information from the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).

Experts from the state committee found that in 1996, the kindergarten building with an area of 533.3 sq.m and a land plot of 2200 sq.m were illegally transferred into private ownership of the joint-stock company "Nur-KM." This occurred in violation of the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic No. UP-37, which was adopted in 1995.

This decree prohibited the sale of social infrastructure facilities by both state and privatized institutions if they had a state share in the authorized capital. This rule was in effect when such facilities were already on the balance sheet or were transferred free of charge during privatization while maintaining their intended purpose.

As a result of the inspections, the former owner, realizing the illegality of their ownership, agreed to return the kindergarten building along with the land plot to the state.
