According to the decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated February 16, 1995, No. 37, which concerns urgent measures to ensure conditions for the further use of social infrastructure facilities, such facilities cannot be sold by either state or privatized enterprises and institutions if they are on their balance sheet or were transferred free of charge during the privatization process.
As a result of the inspection, it was established that this land plot was illegally transferred into private ownership with a change in its intended use, which contradicts the aforementioned decree.
After the conducted measures, the plot with buildings has been returned to state ownership and transferred to the mayor's office of the city of Osh. This decision is aimed at improving social infrastructure and creating more favorable conditions for the city's residents, as emphasized by the GKNB.
GKNB reminds that real estate that has been transferred into private ownership in violation of legislation is subject to return to state ownership.
