The Ministry of Education Discussed the Interim Monitoring of 12-Year Education
On January 29, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Education under the leadership of Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva. The event was attended by deputy ministers, heads of departments under the ministry, as well as representatives of donor organizations.
The meeting addressed the issue of interim monitoring and analytical assessment of the implementation of 12-year school education based on the results of the first half of the year.
The ministry's statement mentions plans to conduct a comprehensive analysis based on data from surveys and observations to determine the results achieved in the initial stages of implementing 12-year education.
The minister noted that interim and consolidated analyses will help create an objective understanding of the initial outcomes of the reform, assess the effectiveness of already made decisions, and identify problem areas, achievements, as well as directions for adjusting future stages of implementing 12-year education.
Particular attention will be paid to analyzing the professional development of teachers, evaluating the practical application of educational programs and subject standards, as well as the effectiveness of using electronic educational resources and digital platforms. This includes the portals of the Kyrgyz Academy of Education, the Republican Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Teachers, and "Okuu kitibi".
During the monitoring, the level of teachers' mastery of automated information systems, such as "Mugalim", "Kundoluk", and other digital solutions, will also be assessed. The analysis will focus on the accuracy, relevance, and completeness of the data entered into these systems and used for management decisions.
As emphasized by the ministry, the interim monitoring is being implemented by the Department of Quality Education Development at the Ministry of Education.
