The mayor of the capital, Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, along with his deputies, visited educational institutions in the city.

During the visit, they inspected the Children's Art School No. 4, where they discussed the possibility of adding a new floor or constructing a new building next to the existing one. The mayor instructed to conduct a seismic safety assessment of the building at the Institute of Seismology and to focus on creating accessible infrastructure for people with disabilities during the reconstruction process. The school plans to celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2026, so all construction work must be completed by that time.

Then the delegation headed to School No. 37, where it was instructed to urgently begin major repairs on the neighboring building and to explore the possibility of merging the two buildings on the school grounds. It was also decided to dismantle the garages located near the school and to consider the option of building a multi-level parking lot.

Additionally, the delegation inspected School No. 56. Junushaliev had previously visited this educational institution and expressed criticism, after which work on the site significantly intensified, and the major renovation of the gym was completed in just two months. It was also instructed to enhance the greening around the school and to develop a landscaping project for the area.
