The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, handed over 10 Perkins Brailler Classic typewriters in Braille to the Special Boarding School for Blind and Visually Impaired Children in Bishkek.

As specified by the government press service, the need for such typewriters was expressed in September of last year during the Prime Minister's visit to this educational institution.

More than 3 million soms were allocated from the reserve fund of the Cabinet of Ministers for the purchase of 20 units of equipment. Of these, 10 typewriters have already been delivered to Bishkek, while the remaining 10 will be transferred to the Special General Education Boarding School for Blind and Visually Impaired Children in the city of Osh.

According to representatives of the Cabinet, these typewriters play a key role in the educational process. They provide conditions for sequential and practical learning of writing in Braille, developing students' skills for independent work, fine motor skills, and concentration. This also simplifies the organization of the educational process for teachers and improves the quality of education, allowing for the integration of corrective, educational, and social work into a unified pedagogical system.

During the visit, issues related to the activities of the educational institution were also discussed.
