The Cabinet transferred 10 Braille machines to the boarding school for visually impaired children.
A request for new equipment was made in September of last year when the head of the government visited this educational institution. More than 3 million soms were allocated from the reserve fund of the Prime Minister for the purchase of the typewriters. A total of 20 units were purchased: 10 were sent to Bishkek, and the remaining 10 will be delivered to the boarding school for visually impaired children in Osh.
The Perkins Brailler Classic typewriters are designed for teaching writing using the Braille system. They help organize an educational process focused on practical skills, develop the independence of students, and simplify the work of educators.
During his visit, Kasymaliev also discussed current issues related to the operation of the institution.
