The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, handed over 10 Perkins Brailler Classic machines intended for teaching visually impaired children to a Special Boarding School in Bishkek.
It is important to note that the need for these typewriters was identified back in September of last year during Kasymaliev's visit to this educational institution.
More than 3 million soms were allocated from the reserve fund of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for the purchase of 20 units of equipment. Of these, 10 machines have already been delivered to the school in Bishkek, while the remaining 10 will be sent to the Special General Education School for Blind and Visually Impaired Children in Osh.
The Perkins Brailler Classic machines play a significant role in the educational process, providing an opportunity for systematic and practice-oriented teaching of Braille writing. They develop students' skills of independence and fine motor skills, as well as help teachers organize the educational process more effectively, thereby improving the quality of teaching and the integration of corrective and educational programs.
During the visit, key issues concerning the operation of the institution were also discussed.
