Illegal Hunting Facts Discovered in Uzgen District
During a raid conducted on March 18 in the village of Orto-Aryk of the Karaol rural council, inspectors from the Osh regional office of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service discovered citizens engaged in illegal hunting.
It was revealed that residents of the village of Karaol were hunting on days when it is prohibited—on Tuesday and Wednesday—which contradicts established rules.
The violators were apprehended at the scene, and administrative measures were taken against them in accordance with Article 263 ("Violation of Hunting Rules") of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic. Fines ranged from 12,500 to 25,000 soms.
The Ministry of Natural Resources reminded that hunting rules in Kyrgyzstan are approved by the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 55 dated February 4, 2025, and urged citizens to strictly adhere to these regulations.
