The Bishkek City Hall has mandated construction companies to strictly adhere to the norms of urban improvement. According to information provided by the local administration, in accordance with item 172 of the urban improvement regulations approved by the decision of the Bishkek City Council on August 29, 2024, No. 150, all construction sites must be equipped with wheel washing stations for vehicles leaving their territory. The wheel cleaning procedure is a mandatory requirement.
Violating these norms can lead to the contamination of road surfaces with dirt and mud, negatively impacting road safety and the overall condition of urban infrastructure.
In this regard, the City Hall has instructed the municipal inspection to carry out regular monitoring of compliance with these requirements at construction sites and to take measures against violators.
Construction companies must ensure:
Installation and continuous operation of wheel washing stations for all vehicles leaving construction sites. Exclusion of dirt and mud being carried off the sites. Timely cleaning of the adjacent area within a distance of 15 meters. In case of non-compliance with these requirements, the municipal inspection will apply measures in accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
