The Bishkek City Hall has appealed to construction companies to strictly adhere to the established norms of urban landscaping. This information was announced by the municipality's press service.
According to official data, violations of these norms lead to the discharge of dirt and soil onto roads, which, in turn, negatively affects road safety and the condition of urban infrastructure.
“According to paragraph 172 of the landscaping rules, approved by the resolution of the Bishkek City Council on August 29, 2024, No. 150, construction sites must be equipped with wheel washing points for vehicles leaving the construction site. Wheel cleaning is a mandatory requirement,” the statement notes.
In turn, the municipal inspection has been instructed to carry out regular monitoring of compliance with landscaping rules at construction sites and to take measures against violators.
Construction companies are required to fulfill the following requirements:
- install and continuously operate wheel washing (cleaning) points for all vehicles leaving construction sites;
- prevent the removal of soil and dirt from the construction site;
- regularly clean the adjacent area within a radius of 15 meters.
In case of non-compliance with these requirements, measures will be taken against violators in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Bishkek City Hall emphasizes that maintaining cleanliness and order in the capital is the responsibility of all organizations and enterprises operating within its territory, regardless of ownership form.
