The State Committee for National Security detained employees of the Chui Electric Grid Enterprise OJSC "NESC"

According to the press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), the detention took place as part of the fight against corruption in government institutions in the Chui region, where cases of systematic illegal collection of funds by certain officials of the enterprise were identified.

After the detention, the suspects were placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Currently, additional investigative and operational activities are ongoing to identify other possible offenses and those involved in them.
