On one of the days in September 2024, seven people became victims of a traffic accident on the bypass road near Tokmok. The person responsible for this tragedy was convicted, and the materials regarding the Supreme Court's decision were published on the "Digital Justice" portal.

M. A. was found guilty of violating traffic rules, which led to severe consequences through negligence.

On that day, September 1, 2024, at around 15:30, a driver in a "Subaru Outback" was heading east on the Bishkek – Naryn – Torugart bypass road. He violated traffic rules by crossing the dividing line between the streams of vehicles and collided with a "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter." After that, the "Subaru" veered into the oncoming lane, where it collided with another "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter."

The first "Mercedes" also veered into the oncoming lane and collided with a "Toyota Camry," and then, continuing to move by inertia, crashed into a "Toyota Voxy."

As a result of this incident, the following individuals died from severe injuries:

Passengers of the "Toyota Camry" A. G. A., born in 1985, and T. K. R., born in 2016, as well as a passenger in the "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter" T. A. N., born in 1994, also sustained injuries of varying severity.

The convicted person's lawyer filed a cassation appeal requesting the annulment of the verdicts of both instances and the acquittal of his client, arguing that the prosecution was not proven during the court proceedings. He pointed out that the investigation did not confirm that M. A. actually crossed the dividing line and caused the initial collision.
