Residents of Jalal-Abad Region Renounced the Ideology of the RET "Yakin-Inkar"

Recently, an event aimed at explaining and preventing issues among activists of the religious extremist group "Yakin-Inkar" took place in the Jalal-Abad region. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).

It is reported that 27 members of this religious extremist movement publicly renounced their radical beliefs and ideology.

According to the SCNS, these citizens were involved in extremist activities and were subjected to active propaganda of the banned ideology. They acknowledged the error of their choice and recognized the harmfulness of their beliefs. In their statement, they expressed regret and confirmed their readiness to adhere to the laws and regulations of Kyrgyzstan, as well as to comply with the decisions of the Council of Ulema and the requirements of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (DUMK). Furthermore, they urged other citizens not to succumb to the calls of supporters of the religious extremist group "Yakin-Inkar".

The State Committee also reminded of the possible criminal liability for participating in the activities of extremist and terrorist organizations that are banned on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
