Employees of the courts in Chui region accused of corruption. Secretary and judge detained

A corruption scheme has been uncovered in the judicial system of the Chui region, as reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR). It is suspected that the senior secretary of the Chui regional court, A. Zh. B., received $26,000 from T. M. T. for assistance in rendering a court decision not related to imprisonment.

However, she was unable to achieve a positive outcome and was detained while transferring part of the received amount, which totaled 651,000 soms and $2,800. Following this, A. Zh. B. was placed in the GKNB KR detention center.

The investigation is also looking into the involvement of Kyrgyz citizen K. A. A. and the judge of the Alamudun district, Zh. Sh. B. The latter, according to GKNB information, was detained while receiving 85,000 soms.
