In the Chui Regional Court, a corruption scheme was uncovered by the State National Security Committee (GKNB) of Kyrgyzstan.
According to information from the GKNB, the senior secretary of the mentioned court, A.Zh.B., took advantage of her official position to receive 26 thousand US dollars from a citizen "T.M.T." to assist in a court case not related to imprisonment. However, she was unable to resolve the issue in favor of "T.M.T."
During operational-search activities, GKNB officers caught A.Zh.B. red-handed as she was returning part of the received funds — 651 thousand soms and 2 thousand 800 US dollars. She was placed in the GKNB KR detention center.
As part of the investigation, it was established that a citizen "K.A.A." and the judge of the Alamudun District Court of the Chui region "Zh.Sh.B." were also involved in the illegal activities, who was detained while returning 85 thousand soms.
The GKNB continues its work to identify other possible participants in this corruption scheme among the employees of the judicial system of Kyrgyzstan.
