The Investigative Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is conducting an investigation into a criminal case related to Article 336 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on corruption. This became possible after the release of a report by the State Tax Service titled "Oil for Themselves: How Kyrgyzneftegaz Was Ruined," which contains information about alleged violations by employees of the Open Joint Stock Company "Kyrgyzneftegaz."
As reported by the press service, Tai-Muras Tashiev has not yet been questioned in connection with this case.
It is worth noting that he is the son of Kamchybek Tashiev, the former Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the State National Security Committee, who was relieved of his duties on February 10.
