Tai-Muras Tashiev, the son of former head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) Kamchybek Tashiev, commented on recent reports from the tax authorities regarding "Kyrgyz Petroleum Company" ("Kyrgyzneftegaz").

He noted that according to open data, from 2021 to 2025, "Kyrgyz Petroleum Company" produced about 357.9 thousand tons of diesel fuel, while Moka Group purchased only 5,463 tons.

This amount constitutes only 1.53% of the total volume of diesel fuel produced, he added.

Tashiev denied rumors that his company allegedly dominates the market for purchases from "Kyrgyz Petroleum Company," claiming that Moka Group did not buy up all the diesel fuel and did not hinder other companies from making purchases.

Moreover, he emphasized that other firms also purchase diesel fuel from this enterprise in the necessary volumes.

Tashiev also reported that, according to his information, "Kyrgyz Petroleum Company" is currently facing difficulties and may cease diesel fuel production due to overflowing warehouses and a sharp decline in demand.

He added that the company's specialists are currently working on finding buyers for the diesel fuel by contacting private firms.

In conclusion, Tashiev urged the public not to spread false information about his company.

Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the initiation of a criminal case under Article 336 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic "Corruption" in connection with possible violations at OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz."

As clarified by the agency, the reason for starting the investigation was video materials released by the State Tax Service, which examined possible illegal actions by the company's employees.

It is assumed that employees of OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz" may have abused their position by organizing illegal schemes for the sale of fuel and lubricants in collusion with affiliated companies. The Ministry of Internal Affairs added that against the backdrop of rising prices for fuel and lubricants in the country, conditions were created for the illegal material gain of some related companies.

Currently, investigative actions are ongoing with the involvement of specialists from the State Tax Service.
