In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a man has been detained on charges of inciting interethnic hatred. This information was provided by the Internal Affairs Department of the Sverdlovsk district.
According to law enforcement agencies, on February 26, 2026, a report was received by the "102" service stating that one of the citizens was using obscene language and making statements that could contribute to inciting interethnic and religious hatred.
On the same day, the Internal Affairs Department conducted the detention of citizen G.D., born in 1980, for further investigation.
As a result of the preliminary investigation, a protocol was drawn up under Article 126 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic. The man was placed in a temporary detention facility, and a linguistic examination was also appointed.
